EASY NO HEAT CURLS

HOWDY!!  So I am absolutely in love with the curls/waves look, but I'm not so in love with how long it takes to curl my hair as well as how damaging it can be.  This is one of my favorite no heat easy hairstyles that creates super awesome curls that kind of fall into beachy waves throughout the day(s).  This method is basically fool proof. The results look just as good as any curling iron would produce and most importantly, doesn't damage your beautiful locks at all.

FIRST THINGS FIRST.  You gotta moisten that hair (I know you cringed at the word moisten... So did I).  If you have just taken a shower, make sure your hair is at least 80 percent dry before you start.  If you have completely dry hair like me, slightly dampen your hair with a spray bottle filled with water.  The key is to have your hair wet enough to hold the curl but not so wet that your hair takes 300 years to dry (literally).

The next step is to put all your hair in the highest pony you've ever seen (jk but still pretty high).  I would also recommend making sure your hair is tangle free before this step.  Putting your hair in the ponytail makes the process a lot faster and will give your curls more volume.

What you are going to need for this hairstyle are these beautiful hair devices called flex rods. I got a ton off Amazon for super cheap.  I use two different sizes here so the curls have more dimension.

Now for the curls.  You're going to take about an inch section of hair (you can take more for looser curls and less for tighter curls) and wrap it around the flex rod.  I rotate the direction I wrap around my hair for more volume (I'm all about the volume).  When you've wrapped all your hair around, all you do is fold in the ends and it should hold your hair fine.  Do this to your whole head.

You're going to look like this aka not the cutest, but it'll all be worth it in the end when you're rockin' your beautiful head of hair.  You should keep this in your hair for 30 minutes to an hour.  If you have the time, I would keep it in longer just so the curls are even more secure.  If you're feeling rushed you can hit it with a blow-dryer for a few minutes to help it dry before you take it out.

When you take out your rods your hair should look a lil like this.  After you take out your pony, flip your head over and shake out the curls gently to separate them.  Hit your curls with some hairspray and BAM flawless curls.

These are the results I got. I hope this helps some of you who are trying to save your hair or just save some time :) God Bless you beauties.
Peace, Christina
